INE Bridal Expo and Flowers by Semia

This past weekend I had the pleasure of coming up with yet another fun and stylish idea for my “booth” at the India New England Wedding Expo.  So rather than sticking with the traditional 6-foot table, I chose to create a sleek and stylish lounge where brides could sit, relax and chit-chat with me about their dream wedding and photography plans.  Quite a few people asked me “where do you come up with these ideas” – and honestly, they’re not just ideas, but rather the baseline of how I would want to feel and be treated if I were a bride trying to plan my own wedding.  When you’re a tired, overwhelmed bride, it’s so much easier to think when you’re sitting down, relaxed and having fun; rather than standing in front of a table, flipping through books and feeling pressured to ask/answer questions.  So a huge thanks to Adrienne at Gracie Lou Events for helping me coordinate with Rentals Unlimited on the super-stylish furniture.  And a HUGE HUGE thanks goes out to Semia of Flowers by Semia for adorning the lounge with super colorful and totally stylish flowers!  I literally just told her I liked orange, pink, fun, modern and funky – and with those 5 words Semia created a masterpiece that caught the eye of every single person who walked by the lounge.  THANK YOU THANK YOU!!  So if you’re a bride-to-be and looking for an AH-MAY-ZING florist, be sure to check her out.  I’ve included a few more photos of her work below.  Enjoy and Happy Friday!!
