Apparently, laughter (not absence) makes the heart grow fonder. When Jen ran into Hriday on the first day of medical school, who would have thunk it that his childish humor would catch the attention of the prettiest girl in the class? Even Jen was left wondering why she was attracted to the guy who told bad jokes… Oh well, apparently it worked! And it seems that even years later, Hriday’s sense of humor still keeps Jen smiling.
We met up at the Boston Public Garden on what was a perfectly pleasant evening. Jen and Hriday were dressed to impress; a welcome change from the daily routine of wearing medical scrubs and sneakers. Although I have to ask, what’s wrong with scrubs? Not only are they comfortable, but they make you look so official.
Well, despite the scare of rain, I’m so happy we were able to make their engagement session work before Jen and Hriday both begin their residency next month. I’ve heard those guys don’t sleep or see the light of day for a good 2.5 years! Eeek, good luck guys! Honestly though, congratulations. And a huge thanks to Nicole for joining in on the e-session, as she’ll be taking the lead on Jen and Hriday’s wedding. Happy Wednesday!
